Investigations

We are investigating the employment practices of the following companies and our attorneys are interested in talking to any former or current employees regarding your experience and to inform you of your rights under the law for reimbursement of any back wages or penalties that may be owed.

For all California employees, if you are a non-exempt employee, you are entitled to the following wages:

  • To be paid for all hours worked, including off-the-clock time, travel time, training time, on-call time
  • To be paid overtime for work over 8 hours a day or 40 hours in a week
  • To be paid double time for work over 12 hours a day
  • To be paid a premium for working 7 consecutive days
  • To be paid a premium for meal breaks not provided (30 minutes duty free for every 5 hours worked)
  • To be paid a premium for rest breaks not provided (10 minutes duty free for every 3.75 hours worked)
  • To be paid for business expenses (including work required cell phone, computer, supplies, uniforms, travel mileage, etc.)
  • To be paid for 3 sick days per year
  • To be paid for unused vacation days

Acumen, LLC.

We are investigating claims against Acumen, LLC regarding its employee policies, including issues regarding misclassification, management, expenses compensation, staffing, overtime, meal and rest breaks, and proper payment of wages.

Bebe

We are investigating claims against Bebe regarding its employee policies, including issues regarding dress code policies, meal and rest breaks, and proper payment of wages.

Blue Apron

We are investigating claims against Blue Apron regarding its employee policies, including issues regarding misclassification, management, expenses compensation, staffing, overtime, meal and rest breaks, and proper payment of wages.

Chipotle

We are investigating claims against Chipotle for allegedly paying managers less overtime and lower wages than California law requires. If you worked for Chipotle as a general manager, assistant manager, service manager, or kitchen manager, you may be entitled to compensation.

First Alarm Security & Patrol

We are investigating claims against First Alarm Security & Patrol regarding its employee policies, including issues regarding dress code policies, meal and rest breaks, and proper payment of wages.

Jos. A. Bank Clothiers

We are investigating claims against Jos. A. Bank regarding its special deals and offers between 2012 and 2014. If you have tags from the clothing items, and/or a copy of a receipt or copy of your credit card bill showing the purchase during a special offer or special deal from Jos. A. Bank between 2012 – 2014, we would like to speak with you.
